We believe DMM NOCO is
for such a time as this.
(Esther 4:14)
““Church as we know it” has many obstacles in regard to reaching the lost and seeing every follower of Jesus mature in spiritual transformation which should result in making other disciples. We believe DMM can address and overcome these obstacles.
Our Western Culture is changing rapidly and at times “Church as we know it” can seem “stuck” in past ways of thinking and acting. Being “stuck” can limit our ability to fulfill the Mission Jesus gave His Church in the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
We affirm that God, His Character, and His Word never changes, though His methods often do. Research of Church History makes this reality clear.
We are living in a time and culture that may suggest we need to look at both the “Church as we know it” and the Great Commission through a new lens.
With a broader lens of what is going on globally, there are “Book of Acts Movements” occurring. These movements are ushering in large numbers of new followers of Jesus. They include individuals from different cultures, religions and segments of society. Should we ask the question: Could God be inviting the North American Church to learn from our brothers and sisters around the world?
In North America, we are beginning to experience a fresh and inspiring work of God that could influence “Church as we know it”. We are excited to partner with God in implementing movement principles which result in multiplicative Disciple Making, thus extending His love and Kingdom in Northern Colorado.
Isaiah 43:19 states: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
We believe God is doing a new thing!
