Population Growth and Disciple Making Movement

As Northern Colorado continues to grow we have seen a decrease in church engagement. We have all used old metrics to determine “success”, but we are asking the questions, “Who is engaging the lostness of NOCO?” “Who is owning the lostness of our region?”

DMM NOCO is bringing awareness, training, coaching, modeling, and resourcing people to make a difference in the lostness of Northern Colorado by making disciple makers. We are partnered with local churches, individuals, and community catalysts to pray and unleash Disciple Making Movements in Northern Colorado.

NOCO Population & Percent Religious

These figures are estimates based on census data and projections. The average religious population in America is 49%. Generally speaking Northern Colorado is below the American average at 42%.

We suspect these figures are trending downward as more and more people identify as a “None” religiously. We also believe these numbers are not representing fully engaged, active disciples of Jesus who are making disciples.

We must be willing to take action in faith and step into lostness in Northern Colorado for the sake of our people and our communities.
